It is possible that when using the system out of the box, socket detection may no longer work. This may be due to differences layers between different projects. Here are some steps to fix it:
Make sure the "Queries Hit Triggers" field is enabled in your Project Settings > Physics.
Ensure that the "Socket" layer is defined in your Project Settings > Tags and Layers.
Make sure that the layer "Socket" is defined in the "Snapping Layers" field in Building Placer.
This can happen if some shaders or materials are missing, usually on projects in URP or HDRP.
The Package Importer imports automatically the support according the project render pipeline. If this is not done automatically, you can import it from the folder:
"Easy Build System \ Features \ Resources \ Packages \ Supports"
